Terms and conditions

The seller is SRL “Mellang&Compani”, IDNO 1017611001837, registered address: MD-3801, Republica Moldova, ATO Găgăuz Yeri, or. Comrat, str. Cozeriuca, 34, represented by director Duduș Veaceslav. This legal entity operates the Unotoro chain and the neighbouring kitchens whose dishes share the same menu.

This document sets out the terms of using the site and of distance selling of prepared food. We may amend the rules: a new version applies from the moment of publication and does not affect orders already accepted.

An order may be placed by a person with legal capacity who provides a working phone number: the operator calls it back to confirm the order.

Alcohol. Drinks with any alcohol content are not sold to persons under 18. The courier may ask for proof of age and refuse to hand over alcohol if no document is presented or the age is in doubt; the rest of the order is still delivered and paid for.

The cart is assembled on the site and the order is sent with the “Order” button. The site accepts orders around the clock, but they are cooked and delivered during working hours: daily 7:30 — 22:00.

The contract is considered concluded once the operator has confirmed the order by phone. Until then the order is a request.

We may refuse or cancel an order: if a dish has run out, if a price error is found, if we cannot reach you, or where there are signs of abuse. We report any refusal by phone.

Prices are in Moldovan lei (MDL), VAT included. The price of a dish is fixed at the moment the order is confirmed; it may differ from the dine-in price and from aggregator prices.

Payment is cash or card: to the courier on delivery, at the till for pickup, to the waiter in the dining room. There is no online card payment on the site; we neither collect nor store payment details.

Delivery costs 30 MDL and is shown in the bill before the order is sent; your address zone may have its own price — it appears at checkout once the point is placed on the map. From 200 MDL delivery is free — an individual zone may have its own threshold, also shown at checkout. There is no minimum order: we will deliver a single item.

The chain delivers with its own couriers in: Comrat, Cahul. In Chișinău delivery is carried out by aggregators (Straus, Glovo) — their terms, prices and timings apply there, and the site serves as a menu showcase. In Ceadîr-Lunga orders are taken by phone at 079 20 25 30 · 078 21 22 23.

The operator gives an approximate delivery time when confirming the order: it depends on kitchen load, zone, weather and traffic. The time given is a guide, not a commitment to the minute.

Food travels in packaging that holds temperature. The order is handed over at the address given at checkout; the courier is not obliged to come up to the apartment where the building makes that impossible.

Check the order on receipt. Report a shortage, damaged packaging or a wrong dish to the courier straight away — that way it is settled on the spot.

If delivery fails for reasons on the customer’s side — wrong address, unreachable phone, refusal to accept the order without cause — we may cancel the order and not refund the cost of food already prepared.

For pickup we call when the order is ready and keep it at the point until the end of the working day. We are not obliged to reheat or replace food collected later than agreed.

A dine-in order is placed in the room: give the table number, it is written on the table. Payment is on the spot.

Photographs show the dish, not the portion to the gram: presentation may differ slightly. Weight is indicative and allows for technological deviation.

Ingredients are listed in the menu. One kitchen prepares every item, so traces of allergens are possible in any dish — gluten, milk, eggs, nuts, sesame, soy, mustard, fish and seafood. If you have an allergy or intolerance, tell the operator before the order is confirmed.

Prepared food is intended for immediate consumption after receipt and is not suitable for long storage.

An order can be cancelled by phone while it has not been passed to the kitchen. Once cooking has started, cancellation is possible only with our consent: prepared food cannot be returned to sale.

We accept claims about quality, ingredients or shortages within 24 hours of receiving the order — by the city phone number or at info@efood.md. We may ask for a photo and a description to look into it.

For a justified claim we replace the dish, refund the money in full or in part — by the method used for payment — or offer another solution if you agree to it.

We are responsible for food being prepared according to food safety standards. The chain’s liability is limited to the value of the order.

We are not liable for delays or consequences caused by circumstances beyond our control: closed roads, weather, loss of communications or power, acts of third parties.

You have every right granted by the legislation of the Republic of Moldova on consumer protection and on electronic commerce. This document does not limit them.

We first try to settle a dispute directly. If that fails, you may apply to the Agency for Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance, to the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA), or to a court under the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.

What we collect at ordering and sign-in, whom we share it with and how long we keep it is described in the privacy policy. It forms part of these terms.
